Questions

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial of every plan, with no card required. You choose a plan from the billing page when the trial ends; nothing is charged before that.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancel any subscription any time from the Billing page in the app (Subscriptions, then Cancel subscription). You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not give prorated or partial refunds for the unused part of a month or year. One-time services are single payments with nothing to cancel, and they are non-refundable once the output is finalized or downloaded.
What counts as a fund or a business?
A fund is one entity you track in the app: an Opportunity Zone fund (priced by size: Starter $49, Standard $98 or Large $245 a month) or a real estate fund. A business is one filer with its own EIN that pays contractors or files Form 1065, 1120-S, 1120 or 1041. Each is priced on its own; unlimited investors, payees and users inside each.
What does "included during launch" mean?
A plan or add-on marked that way has no price switched on yet, so it is free for everyone until it does. When a price is switched on, what you already finalized stays yours; new finished output needs the purchase.
Are there per-form fees for 1099s?
No. The business compliance plan covers every 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC the business files for $49 a month, with no per-form charge, no recipient-copy charge and no higher price in January. Most e-file services charge per form and raise their rates in the last week of January.
Is the firm workspace a replacement for fund subscriptions?
The firm workspace is $249 a month for the firm, with 10 client funds included. Members’ own funds keep their own subscriptions or trials unless the firm subscribes for them.
