Business compliance

W-9s, 1099s and Form 7004 for businesses that pay contractors.

Send each payee a W-9 link, check every TIN, and the 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC are an IRIS upload file when the year closes. The business’s return date, its Form 7004 and the extended date sit on the same calendar. $49 a month per business, with no per-form fee.

14-day trial, no card. Unlimited payees and forms per business.

What we don’t do

So you can plan around it.

  • Transmit to IRIS directly, for now: you upload the IRIS CSV in the IRS portal, which is timely when submitted by 11:59 p.m. on the due date.
  • Query the IRS TIN Matching service for you: only enrolled payers can, so the plan builds the bulk file and reads the results.
  • Print and mail recipient copies, or file directly with states outside the Combined Federal/State program.
  • Prepare W-2s, Forms 940 and 941, or 1099-K, 1099-INT and 1099-DIV.
  • Prepare the business’s income tax return.

Questions

What does the business compliance plan cover?
W-9 collection, TIN checks and the bulk TIN Matching file, 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC with the IRIS upload file and recipient copies, Form 7004, the federal calendar for the business’s return and IRS notice tracking, for $49 a month per business.
Is there a per-form fee?
No. Every 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC the business files is covered by the $49 a month, recipient copies included, and the price does not change in January.
What changed for 2026 payments?
The reporting threshold for nonemployee compensation, rents and most 1099-MISC boxes is $2,000 for payments after December 31, 2025. Ten or more information returns of any type must be e-filed, and from January 1, 2027 IRIS is the only IRS e-file system.
Does it file the business’s income tax return?
No. It tracks the return’s due date for the entity type, fills Form 7004 to extend it, and shows the extended date. The return itself is prepared by you or your CPA.
What happens when an IRS notice arrives?
Log it with the notice number and the app shows the response deadline. For a penalty, the penalty relief letters ($199 per business, one time) draft the answer from the notice.
